Veil & Subdue Blog

Last night’s show was great! Theatre Saint Augustine (of which I am a founding member) did two theatrical segments during the course of the evening, performing select scenes from classic stage productions. After the first segment, I played a few songs from Veil & Subdue, including: Turn The Page, Just Like Freedom, I Will, and I’ll Never Sleep Again. Thank you, Anna Meade, who is also a part of TSA and was on hand to lend her amazing vox to the same songs she sang on the CD! This was the first time the two of us have been able to perform V&S songs live together since it was released in April of last year.

Then TSA performed the same show again later in the evening, followed by a second runthrough of the same music setlist as above, with additional songs: Pieces On Me, Coming Round Again (The Hobo Song), and Sandgrain On The Beach (the last two songs were from my 2007 CD release, Strangehaven).

It was an outstanding evening, and the people at Bee Gallery (where we performed) were incredibly gracious and welcoming. I’ll be posting pix and vids of the event soon. Thanks to everyone who came out to support us!!! I hear that over the course of the evening we had approx. 200 people come in to see at least one part of our show, which is pretty outstanding.
