Spent this evening with Tina, watching the newest episode of Battlestar Galactica and, a bit later, some episodes of The Tick (the live action one). The Tick was a brilliant show! Only one season, but so well done, and freaking clever. Goes especially well with a bit of wine and some Red Hot Blues chips! ;^)  We also did some yoga.

Unbelievable…it’s Florida, and we’re freezing in this house, which was never designed for cold weather. So cold tonight…even with heat I can’t feel my toes.

Talked to the CD mastering guy at Disc Makers yesterday about the small changes needing to be done to the project…they’ve now been done and shipped off to me; I should get them tomorrow for the final proofing! Then it will be time to send off the packaging artwork. Cool! I’m getting lots of commitments to buy already, which is awesome.

Rock climbing

by Paul on Feb.18, 2009, under Thoughts

Had a nice evening with Tina, climbing the rock-climbing wall at the local YMCA. It’s been years since I’ve climbed, and I’d forgotten how “zen” the whole activity is. Sort of pulls together the physical, mental and emotional into a complete “NOW” moment. We had a great time! They’ve got a good wall selection, with nice slants to some of the spots, so you really have to extend and take a few leaps of faith. Nice stuff. If you get high enough on one of them, there’s a dragonfly “fossil” sticking out of the rock. Ah, the rewards…!

Tonight we watched some pirated Battlestar Galactica season 4.5; pretty intense stuff. Crazy turns. The writers must be having quite the fun…
